Waterlines and Sandy Patterns - During a walk in the mist on the beach of Barley Cove in the far Southwest of Ireland I saw the beautiful water lines and channels as well as the phantastic patterns in the sand formed by the retreating waters.
Peculiar patterns are formed by seasand deposited on volcanic structures. The photographs were taken on a little island at the coast of Ngapali in Myanmar (Burma).
The bands of shell limestone at the white cliffs of Etretat in the Normandy (France) repeat itself on the walls of the houses of the coastal town.
